while spraying a large group verdigris patina hoops with sealant, i was struck by the beautiful patterns they created laid out as a collection.  {accidental abstract compositions}  so i ran inside to grab my camera and capture the moment.

I've been working on this custom order, off and on for the past two months and its finally finished.  After much debate and waffling back and forth, we settled on the figure in the purple dress.  She fit better on the bench and really filled the space and balanced the composition.  My customer picked her up yesterday and I must admit that I was a little sad to see her go.  But she has a wonderful new home where I know she will be cherished and appreciated, and it is these connections with customers that make my job so fulfilling.
