Soldering & basic hand tool kits from Eurotool- 20% discount offered to students who have taken at least one of our workshops. In person pick up only, shipping is not available. If you would like to take your tools home with you on the day of your workshop make sure to place your order 3 weeks in advance. At this time tools are only available as special orders to pick up in the store. Soldering Kit-
$81.50 (student cost $65.20)
This kit includes almost everything you need to get started soldering at home. Add one of the optional butane torches and grab a small crock pot and you'll be ready to go!
Basic kit includes:
10 oz bag of Sparex pickel
7 oz jar of Handy Flux with brush
Titanium solder pick
Insulated cross locking tweezers
Copper tongs
Small tweezers
Soldering tripod with light and heavy duty screens
5 1/2" x 2 3/4" hard charcoal block
12" x 6" Solderite board
3" each of hard, medium, and easy silver wire solder (not pictured)

Torches
Butane torches are great for casual metalsmiths and those who don't want to store large gas tanks in their homes. The Microtorch works best for small things like jumprings, stud earrings, thin rings, etc. Either the Large Flame torch or Handy Flame torch are necessary for soldering wider bands, bangles, large pendants, etc, but may be too hot for jumprings. Microtorch and Large Flame torch are filled from the bottom using aerosol style canisters that can be found at the hardware store, Handy Flame torch head attaches directly to snap on style canisters found in the camping department.
