DIY Wedding Band Workshop
What better way to celebrate your union than crafting your own one of a kind wedding bands? This is a great class for a couple to take together, some students choose to make their own rings while some choose to make their partners ring. Students will work with hammers, torches and wire stock to craft their rings and will have the option to apply a variety of different hammered textures and finishes. Rings can be made in a variety of widths ranging from 1.25mm to 8mm wide and made from they can be made from flat or half rounded stock. 1.25mm- 4mm widths are 1 mm thick, 6-8 mm widths are 1.5 mm thick to allow for rounding the inner edges for a more comfortable fit. You make your rings from sterling silver, 10k or 14k yellow, white or rose gold. If you are unsure of what you options you want we will arrange a consultation ahead of time to go over all the options. Workshops generally take between 2-3 hours, and you will leave that day with your final rings.All materials will be provided and no experience is necessary.
